Title: Fruit Granola Bars

1/4cMargarine PLUS
1/2tsMargarine; divided
3tbLight corn syrup
1/2cMiniature marshmallows
1 1/2cGranola
1/4cDried apricots; coarse chop
3tbCurrants
1/4cSifted powdered sugar
1tsUnsweetened orange juice
1/8tsVanilla

Combine 1/4 cup margarine, corn syrup and marshmallows in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until melted, stirring constantly. Cook an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in granola, apricots and currants, mixing well.

Spray an 8 inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray. Press granola mixture into pan. Chill 1 hour.

Melt remaining 1/2 teaspoon margarine. Mix with powdered sugar, orange juice and vanilla. Drizzle over cereal mixture. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours. Cut into 16 2-inch squares. Store covered in the refrigerator.

Makes 16 servings
